If you haven’t scheduled an appointment with us before, you might not know what to expect or if there’s anything specific you need to do.

There’s really nothing to be hesitant about — our team has extensive experience working with all levels of client needs, and our main goal is ensuring your safety and giving you the absolutel best treatment and experience.

Here are a few tips and ways to make your first visit as smooth as possible.

Plan Ahead

When you schedule your first visit, try to keep a bit of a gap in your day directly after the appointment. Whether or not you’re going to have a procedure done then, it’s best to keep your schedule open just in case. For instance, if you decide to do Botox, there is no downtime. However, with fillers, bruising and swelling could occur, so plan accordingly. If you do think you want a filler, don’t take multivitamins, Motrin, ibuprofen or any medicines, which could potentially cause you to bleed more. The best-case scenario would be to stop taking those sorts of medicine 7-10 days before the appointment.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

The first note is to make sure you aren’t wearing makeup. It’s important for us to start your appointment with a clean slate so we get the best impression of your skin’s natural state. Also, if you’ll be meeting for a consultation with Amy, our Licensed Aesthetician, make sure to bring all your skincare products. She can go over them with you to discuss what’s working and what needs to be added to your regimen.

Special Note About Children

After much consideration, we have updated our business policy and can no longer allow unsupervised children under the age of 12 in our reception or treatment areas. We strive to create a professional atmosphere for all of our patients, and we deeply care about the safety of your little ones. If you’re coming in for treatment, we kindly ask that you have another adult with you to watch over any children you bring along.

What to Expect

When you come in, the first thing we’ll do is confirm your information and go over your medical history. Then we’ll take pictures of your face to document your progress. We know photos like this aren’t everyone’s favorite, but they’re such an important part of the treatment process since they help us clearly see and track your results. Photos are an integral part of your medical chart in aesthetic practices. Plus, just remember there will be an amazing “after” photo to accompany those “before” photos!

What Next?

At your first visit, we will also go over a full face assessment and put a plan in place as far as priorities. Often, we have time to do a procedure after the consult, but we will determine that after gathering your medical history.

And, remember, if you a Botox or Dysport treatment, you can apply makeup after your appointment. We ask that you do not apply makeup after filler procedures to ensure the cleanliness of your skin for at least 12 hours.

So, what are you waiting for? We can’t wait to meet you and help kick-start this journey with you! Reach out today to set up your consultation.
