Tips for Your First Visit with Us

If you haven’t scheduled an appointment with us before, you might wonder what to expect and if there’s anything specific you need to prepare. Rest assured, our team has extensive experience addressing all levels of client needs. Our main goal is to ensure your safety while providing the absolute best treatment and experience. Here are a few tips to make your first visit as smooth as possible.

Plan Ahead

When scheduling your first visit, try to leave some flexibility in your day after the appointment. Whether or not you decide to have a procedure done, keeping your schedule open allows for any necessary adjustments.

  • Botox: There’s no downtime, so you can resume your day as usual.
  • Fillers: Some bruising and swelling may occur, so plan accordingly.
  • Preparation Tips: If considering fillers, avoid multivitamins, Motrin, ibuprofen, or any medications that can increase bleeding. Ideally, stop these medications 7-10 days before your appointment.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

Come Makeup-Free: Starting with clean skin ensures we get the best impression of your skin’s natural state.
Bring Your Skincare Products: If you’re meeting with our Licensed Aesthetician, bring your current products for a review. We’ll discuss what’s working and what might need to be added to your regimen.

Special Note About Children

To maintain a professional atmosphere and ensure safety, we can no longer allow unsupervised children under 12 in our reception or treatment areas. If you’re bringing children, please arrange for another adult to supervise them.

What to Expect

  • Initial Steps: We’ll confirm your information, review your medical history, and take photos to document your progress. These photos help us track your results and become an essential part of your medical chart. Plus, there’s always an exciting “after” photo to look forward to!
  • Assessment: During your first visit, we’ll complete a full-face assessment and create a plan to prioritize your goals.
  • Procedures: If time permits and it’s safe to proceed, we may perform a procedure after the consultation.

After Your Appointment

  • Botox/Dysport: You can apply makeup after your appointment.
  • Fillers: Avoid makeup for at least 12 hours to ensure skin cleanliness and reduce the risk of irritation.
